IMPLEMENTATION OF REHABILITATION PROGRAMS OF PAROLE PROBATION OFFICE (PPAO) IN MOUNTAIN PROVINCE

ABSTRACT
This study looked into the implementation of rehabilitation program of Parole and Probation Office in Mountain Province.
The study was conducted during the calendar year 2010 and the descriptive method of research was used. Data were gathered through the use of questionnaire and were tabulated and analyzed with the use of appropriate statistical tools. Descriptive statistics such as weighted means, frequency counts and ranking shall be used to analyze data on the primary problems.
There were two groups of respondents, the probation officers and probationers.
To determine significant difference of perception between these two groups of respondents, Sandlerβs A test was used at 0.05 level of significance.
The study found out that the probationers and the probation officers perceived that the Rehabilitation Program of the Parole and Probation Administration Unit of Mountain Province were much implemented. The respondents also perceived that the identified problems encountered in the implementation of the Rehabilitation Program of the Parole and Probation Administration Unit in Mountain Province were moderately serious. The probationers and probation officers perceived that the measures used to address the problems encountered in the implementation of the Rehabilitation Program of the PPA Unit of Mountain Province were much implemented.
