ABSTRACT
This study aimed to trace the graduates of the Masters in Business Administration Program from 2003-2014 of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College. It described the MBA graduates profile, employment status after earning the master degree and relevance of the curriculum. There are at least 23 or 92% MBA graduates from 2003-2014 who responded to the tracer study. Generally the respondents are married, and most of these graduates are gainfully employed locally with regular status. The MBA course has contributed to the graduateβs professional advancement, thus, most are holding professional and managerial positions in the government particularly in the academic institution. Most of the MBA graduates are vertically related to business courses before enrolling MBA and passed the professional licensure examinations in their respective fields of specialization while the rest are Civil Service Professional eligible and NC II passers. Promotion and professional development are most of the MBA graduates reasons for pursuing advance studies. Communication, human and technical skills were gained by MBA graduates.
It is recommended that the MPSPC Graduate School may continuously benchmark with other state universities and colleges to ensure the competitiveness of its curriculum. Conduct curriculum review to update the course program based on the needs of time. Moreover, the college must set linkages either locally or internationally with industrial establishments for collaboration and partnerships for the improvement of the MBA program. The Graduate School must exert effort to increase the number of enrollees in the MBA program in order to attain its VMGO.
