The Department of Health (DOH) headed by DOH Secretary Teodoro J. Herboso, is conducting “Biyaheng Kalusagan” campaign today, October 25, at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Building, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
 
The “Biyaheng Kalusugan” features seven (7) healthy habits that disseminate awareness, break the stigma, and promote health literacy for better behavior and mental wellness in the community.
 
Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) President Edgar G. Cue, pledged that MPSPC will continuously fosters a culture of health and well-being in order to build a healthier and more vibrant society.
 
“I assure you that MPSPC is beyond committed to working with the DOH and the LGUs to pilot healthy and productive well-being through our extension services and social action programs,” stressed Cue.
 
Said event is being attended by the officials from the DOH, LGUs of MP, stakeholders, representatives from both public and private line agencies, and selected students from various educational institutions in Mountain Province.
 
Meanwhile, President Cue received a Certificate of Recognition for MPSPC’s unwavering support and exceptional contribution in the conduct of Biyaheng Kasulugan for mental health.
