The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College joins the 115th Foundation Day and 19th Am-among Festival Program today, September 15,2023 at the Bontoc Municipal Capitol grounds. Representing College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue is Mr. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Vice President for Administration and Finance.
The Guest of Honor and Speaker, Dr. Elizabeth M. Solang in her message challenged everyone to be good public servants. “I hope to challenge those who can to invest in the education of those who need our help… I challenge the youth and those in the public service to strive for national positions, not for the position itself but to render more proficient service and be exemplary models of good governance. We as individuals both in the private and government sector should impose upon ourselves, good values, upright morals to render public service, minimize corruption, hasten delivery of service and make opportunities accessible to all. I would like to also challenge our younger generation, our civil servants, our youth to do away with the attitude of self-entitlement which is defined as a sense of deservingness or being owned a favor when nothing has been done to deserve special treatment….. Each of you the younger generation should try to strive, aim for higher education, be good persons and eventually be the future leaders and models of good governance “ta waday sumublat nu inretire nan present leaders tako, Kaya tako sa ay Ifontok”, Dr. Solang said.
Joining Mr. Lingbanan is Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Chief of Staff of the Office of the President.
