CHED-CAR's Kabadang 3.0, a research publication capacity-building program initiated by Dr. Jimmy Catanes for faculty members had its debut at the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College.
Thirty (30) faculty researchers participated in the first of the five-day mentoring activity and are hoping to enhance their completed research studies for publication in peer-reviewed and indexed journals. The mentors who joined in person include: Dr. Thelma Domingo-Palaoag of the University of the Cordilleras, Dr. Leah P. Abayao of Up-Baguio, Dr. Jun Camara of Pangasinan State University, and Dr. Mark Preston Lopez of MPSPC. Meanwhile, two other mentors, Dr. Erlinda Palaganas of UP Baguio and Dr. Roscinto Lumbres of BSU joined virtually. The idea of having the Kabadang 3.0 MPSPC Edition emerged during the latter part of the term of Dr. Rexton F. Chakas, MPSPC's former president, and which came into fruition during the incumbency of the OIC-Office of the President, Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan, Jr., also the current CHED-CAR Director. The College extends its gratitude to CHED-CAR for this endeavor, with the assistance of Mr. Steven Jan as one of the facilitators. Same gratitude also goes to the College's Research and Development Unit for the collab.
