To empower young people through seminars on topics such as self-empowerment, mental health, adolescent health, violence against women and children, and various leadership trainings, Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, in collaboration with the Population and Development Office of the Mountain Province Provincial Local Government Unit, launched the "YES to YEP" Youth Empowerment for Success: Youth Empowerment Program at Mount Data National High School on November 29, 2023.

In his welcome remarks, Mt. Data National High School Principal Mr. Frederico P. Cayabas expressed profound appreciation to both agencies for starting the aforementioned initiative at their school.
Ms. Carolyne Dale Castaeda-Iguid, MPSPC Events Management Coordinator and President of SILEW psychosocial support group, facilitated the talk on Self-empowerment while PMAJ Faith A. Igualdo, the head of the PNP Mountain Province Women Protection Desk, talked on Violence Against Women and Children Awareness, and Ms. Eunice G. Andaya, the head of the Mountain Province Population and Development Office, discussed on Adolescent Health and Mr. Anton Zaren A. Nasungan, Bontoc's Most Outstanding Youth Leader, facilitated his Leadership Skills seminar.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Salvador T. Sebio, Department Head of the school's Senior High School Department, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bringing out the best in students.
