The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) joined forces with various medical organizations and the Department of Education-Division of Mountain Province to carry out a Medical Mission and Health Information Advocacy initiative in Dalican, Bontoc. Spearheaded by the Philippine Nurses Association-Mountain Province Chapter thru Ms. Jane T. Lagayan, the event provided medical services and promoted health education within the community.
Faculty members and students from the Nursing Department of the College played an active role in disseminating health information and in supporting the medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, who hailed from different agencies such as the Department of Health-Human Resource for Health (DOH-HRH), Luis Hora Memorial Regional Hospital, Bontoc Rural Health Unit, and Besao District Hospital. The collaborative effort demonstrated a collective commitment to the betterment of community health and well-being.
