“One very important part of our education program is internship. Through it, we are not only giving our students a chance to work with professionals, but they will also be able to apply in the real world the theories that they have learned in the confines of the classrooms”, stated College President Edgar G. Cue represented by Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) during the Turnover Ceremony and Reception Rites of class KASIYANA Criminology Interns today, September 22 at the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office (MPPPO) Ground, Bontoc, MP.

Cue further expressed his gratitude to the Bontoc Municipal Police Station (BPS), the Bureau of Fire Protection – Mountain Province (BFP-MP) and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) as partner agencies in accommodating the Criminology interns.

“The continuous support your agencies are giving MPSPC is indeed a significant backing in attaining the vision, mission, goals and thrusts of the college”, stressed Cue.

Moreover, Cue also urged the interns to continually embrace teamwork. "I urge you to interact with the staff and your fellow interns. By doing so, you will improve your communication skills and you will also learn how to deal and work with different people in different circumstances", added Cue.

Said ceremony is a turnover of the student interns to the respective partners agencies where they will apply and acquire knowledge and skills toward their chosen careers.
