Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) has partnered with Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) and ten other institutions and government agencies to form the SINAG Consortium: ASEAN+ Network, which aims to promote collaboration in research and innovation for sustainable development goals. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony during the 1st International Research and Innovation Conference on Education, Engineering, and Agriculture (IRICEEA) at DMMMSU International Convention on December 4, 2023. This collaboration signifies a shared dedication to advancing research initiatives and achieving SDGs.

The collaborating institutions include Udon Thani Rajabhat University (Thailand), Van Lang University (Vietnam), Department of Science and Technology – Regional Office 1 (La Union), Ilocos Consortium of Industry, Energy, and Emerging Technology Research and Development (La Union), University of Northern Philippines (Ilocos Sur), Pangasinan State University (Pangasinan), WCC Aeronautical and Technological College (Pangasinan), President Ramon Magsaysay State University (Zambales), University of Eastern Philippines (Northern Samar), and Central Mindanao University (Bukidnon).
 
The Sinag Consortium, composed of MPSPC, DMMMSU, and other institutions, embodies the idea of collaboration and shared knowledge to address global challenges and achieve Sustainable Development Goals.
 
"Sinag" which means ray of light in Filipino, symbolizes illumination, enlightenment, and positive energy. The consortium envisions a future where research and innovation lead to transformative change and positive outcomes on a local and global scale. They believe that collaborative efforts are crucial in addressing the complex challenges of our time and paving the way for a brighter, more sustainable future.
