This was the prevailing mindset of the MPSPC Community during the Exit Conference of the Remote Validation of the College's conversion to a state university on June 29,2022. The CHED Composite Team and the Validation Team presented their major findings and despite the deficiencies in various programs and areas which are doable, the College has strong hopes that MPSU is about to happen.
Such hope was accompanied with action as the College President, Dr. Rexton F. Chakas, steered the universityhoood team to comply with the remaining requirements until 5 pm today or the latest on June 30. The Committee on Higher and Technical Education Chair Congressman Mark Go of Baguio City explicitly expressed his support to the conversion during the conference. Cong. Maximo Y. Dalog, Jr. reiterated his aspiration that CHED will give its nod and further expressed his support to the College. Also present during the activity to show their support were Hon. Franklin C. Odsey,Bontoc's outgoing mayor and Hon. Eusebio Kabluyen,Bontoc's incumbent Vice Mayor.
