Bearing the theme “Resiliency towards revitalizing our HERITAGE,” 649 undergraduate students of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) Bontoc Campus have satisfactorily completed the requirements of their degree required by the Commission on Higher Education as approved by the Board of Trustees in the recently conducted 25th Commencement Exercises last April 2 held at the Eyeb Open Gym, Bontoc, Mountain Province.
In the number of graduates, the Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BSCrim) is consistent at the top with 25% increase of graduates from last year’s 229 to 286; BS in Secondary Education (BSED), 85; BS in Elementary Education (BEED), 81; BS in Accountancy (BSA), 32; BS in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Financial Management, 55; BSBA Major in Marketing Management, 27; BS in Information Technology, 24; BS in Nursing, 16; Associate of Arts in Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM), 15; BS in Office Administration , 12; BS in HRM, 10; BS in Tourism, 5; and BS in Commerce, 1.
Seven were graduates with Latin honors of Cum Laude: Gwendolyn K. Chamlagen (BSED- Mathematics), Rosalie B. Erese (BSED – Mathematics), Ritchie Kate T. Nawen (BSED – Physical Science), Josephine S. Pilay (BSBA- FM), Flore-ann B. Poclan (BSA), Jessa Joy W. Reyla (BSCrim), and Kelvin L. Sagandoy (BSED- Mathematics). Furthermore, Emma Claire M. Abad and Noreen L. Laop, both from the Accountancy Department received their Academic Distinction Award.
