July 17, 2019 | As mandated by MPSPC through Office of the Student Affairs (OSA) and as per Commission on Higher Education (CHED) requirement, Sports and Athletics Unit in collaboration with Health Services and Gender and Development Unit spearheaded the three-day Basic First Aid and Emergency Response Training.

 

55 target MPSPC office frontliners, coaches and faculty members are expected to equip with skills and knowledge to enable them to carry out appropriate first aid in emergency response. Moreover, the spirit of volunteerism in rendering service during emergency situations is expected to be instilled to the participants.

“Frontliners, coaches and faculty members should be abreast with these especially that they are the first on site,” said Venus Naida P. Bawiyan, Director for Sports Unit.

The said event will commence until July 19, 2019.
