Dancing through the beat of the popularized dance exercise “Agadoo”, the offices-in-charge Supply Office and Cashiering Office enjoined MPSPC in the Flag Ceremony Program, today, at the MPSPC Quadrangle, Bontoc, Mountain Province.

Yasser Berganio of the Blessed Hope Baptist Church, Samoki, Bontoc shared bible verses that is helpful in the realization of contentment and satisfaction. He highlighted his sharing on the influence that one may do to affect the performance and effectivity of other employees.

President Rexton F. Chakas (PRFC) made several announcements and updates that the College is expected to deal within the next days.

In the Convention of State Universities and Colleges’ Presidents last week, Dr. Feliciano G. Calora, President of Benguet State University, was elected as Vice President for Luzon in the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges. President Chakas, being the Vice Chair, will have to take over the former’s post as the Chair of Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges.

Meanwhile, PRFC thanked everyone for their continuous support especially after having recently obtained his academic rank of Professor VI. He also mentioned that there will be a visitation of a representative from the National Budget Circular (NBC) Zonal Center in Ifugao in August regarding the results of NBC including the discussion on its finer points and the changes in rules and policies attached to it.

At the height of the College’s quest towards universityhood, PRFC called the attention of the ISO Committee and the MPSPC Universityhood Task Force to plan on the next steps of MPSPC especially on subjecting the College to Institutional Sustainability Assessment (ISA). Moreover, he encouraged all the teaching and non-teaching staff to watch the coverage of President Rodrigo R. Duterte’s State of the Nation Address to be aware with the country’s direction and its accomplishments in the past years.

Vilma C. Sapil, Learning and Development Coordinator of Human Resource Management Office reminded the teaching and non-teaching staff to submit their Individual Performance Commitment Rating from January to June this year. She also made clear advices on the submission of copies of the activity designs, terminal reports and certificates of all internal and external trainings.

Sapil suggested that an annual plan of activities will be submitted as a summary of expected and necessary trainings that the office will be conducting or participating. However, it was also noted that walk-in trainings will still be accepted but should still submit necessary documents after its approval. She further encouraged everyone to join the Strategic Performance Management Systems Orientation on August 22-23, 2019 by the Civil Service Commission.

Christie Lynne C. Codod, Executive Dean for Bontoc Campus, announced the start of the enrollment for the undergraduate students in July 29 and in August 10 for the Graduate students. She also reminded all instructors to submit their teachers program and syllabus for the middle term.

The General Services Office is assigned to facilitate the Flag Ceremony Program on July 29, 2019.
