The survey visit by the accrediting team from the AACCUP ended the finishing touches of their report this 15 August 2019. The report will eventually give the verdict whether the efforts of the College’s aim of giving higher accreditation level have passed the scrutiny of the team or have gone to naught.

The said accreditation visit focused on Master in Business Administration, Master in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs for Level III Phase II and revisit of Area VII (Library) for Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration. All programs aim to subsequently qualify for Level III - Phase II.

Dr. Adolfo C. Manuel, Jr., Overall Coordinator of the AACCUP Team said he was impressed by the quality of documents submitted and overall performance of the MPSPC accreditation taskforce.

“We will finalize and sign our numerical ratings before I make the final report as the team leader. The consolidated reports will then be submitted to AACCUP and be subjected for discussion,” said Dr. Manuel night before the Exit and Closing Program.

AACCUP typically releases the results of the Accreditation Survey Visit after two or three months. The level of accreditation visit focuses on the outcomes and impact of the program. Some determinants of this level are passing rates, employability and promotion for those with graduate degrees.

Genevieve Claudio, OIC- Director for Quality Assurance is hopeful that the programs will pass and be qualified.

“The Accreditation Taskforce put a lot of efforts and time in the preparation and consolidation of the reports for the accreditors. Some of the observations and recommendation of the accreditors will be released. Let us hope that we will pass.” said Director Claudio.

The AACCUP Team is lodged at the Archog Hotel in Samoki, Bontoc where they continued to work for their reports. The exit and closing program will be held at the College Auditorium on August 15, 2019.
