The Teacher Education Department (TED) and the Graduate School (GS), in collaboration with the Extension Unit under the OVPRDE, conducted an extension activity with the elementary and high school teachers of Betwagan and Anabel at the Betwagan National High School on April 19-21, 2021. The College facilitated a seminar-workshop on Action Research geared towards the development of research studies by K-12 teachers that enhance the curriculum and instruction. TED and GS faculty members, namely, Dr. Rhoda B. Galangco, Dr. Susan A. Lopez, Mr. Jay B. Napanoy, Dr. Mark Preston S. Lopez, Dr. Arel B. Sia-ed, Dr. Willow F. Pangket, and Mr. Glen C. Gayagay served as resource speakers and workshop facilitators. Dr. Jonnelle D. Fagsao and Dr. Julie Grace K. Mi-ing joined the panel during the presentation and evaluation of the teachers’ outputs. This extension activity advances the thrusts of the College administration headed by Dr. Rexton F. Chakas in promoting the relevance of the institution to and harmony with the community.
