Following the Christmas Program, the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) – Tadian Campus conducted its first-ever lantern parade today, December 15.

The parade showcased the skillfulness and creativity of the faculty, staff, and students in crafting lanterns, which started at the Tadian Elementary School and ended at the MPSPC Tadian Campus grounds.

Afterwards, the Christmas tree lighting was held, including the jingle presentation of winners during the Christmas program.

In his message, College President Edgar G. Cue expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees and participants of the lantern parade, conveying his wishes that everyone would experience joy, serenity, and love not only in this yuletide season but also for the coming days and beyond.

β€œIn this season of generosity and love, let us all give thanks to thee, for lending us a meaningful life to cherish. Let us embody the Christian teachings of kindness, benevolence, and open-handedness. May this season also be a time to reflect on the past and look forward to the future,” Cue added.

Moreover, a bonfire and lively community dancing were also made to strengthen bonds between employees and students within the campus.

Said event also sought to fortify the link between the Local Government Unit (LGU), the Philippine National Police, and the College, in order to guide parties toward reciprocal benefit and create strong connections that align with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17, which centers on enhancing collaborations for the common goal.
