A total of 419 students and alumni who are grantees of the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan-Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) Cash-for-Work Program (CFWP) initiated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) convened at the College Auditorium to receive their salary for March and April today, May 23.
 
College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo Jr., Vice President for Administration and Finance, advised the grantees to use their hard-earned salary for their professional development. In his message, Dr. Cue said, “As this program ends, remember that the KALAHI-CIDSS Cash for Work Program symbolizes more than just financial provision, it marks our collective belief in your potential and our commitment to empowering you to reach your aspirations in life.”
 
Also, Dr. Cue expressed his gratitude to Senator Imee R. Marcos for sponsoring the program as well as the various stakeholders including DSWD, the Provincial and Local Government Unit of Mountain Province, and the national line agencies for their collaborative effort in the successful implementation of the said program.
 
Present during the activity were SSDO Dean Ms. Jennifer Ruth C. Tuazon, ARJP Coordinator Dr. Claire Kaplaan P. Lafadchan, DSWD staff led by DSWD-CAR Regional Project Coordinator Gian Carlos De Guzman, college faculty and staff, students, alumni, parents, and guardians.
