College President Edgar G. Cue joined the different State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) presidents and representatives, together with the national and local officials for the cultural night held at the Dusit Thani Hotel, Davao City on September 14, 2023 to commemorate the investiture of UP President Atty. Angelo A. Jimenez.
Said cultural night was a ceremonial toast for the new president and also highlighted the customary practice of the Mindanao Indigenous People's Council of Builders and Leaders to give due recognition in his administration in advancing quality education program, including the protection and promotion of rights among the IP sector. Jimenez was affirmed to embody the title as Datu Mangkalagan which means a great spirit to protect indigenous people in the county.
