Being participated in by the faculty from the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED), the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (BECED), and the Bachelor of Special Needs Education (BSNED), the activity seeks to integrate the importance of ethical journalism and responsible reporting by instilling the values of accuracy, fairness, transparency, and integrity in both faculty members and students.

In a message, College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by Mr. Dexter C. Lingbanan, Vice President for Administration and Finance, encouraged the participants to be accountable and reliable sources of information for the students, their department, and within the institution.

"Never forget โ€˜WHYโ€™ you are writing and expressing yourselves and why you want to be heard and understood. Be responsible, credible, and equip yourselves with the know-how to scrutinize disinformation from a real one," Cue added.

Said activity is being aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education and on promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions, and will run until tomorrow, January 13, 2024.
