The Institutional Quality Assurance (IQA), in collaboration with the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (OVPAA) of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), is currently conducting a face-to-face session on the Capability Building Interventions on QMS/Business Excellence today, December 12, at the Coffee and Lemon Café, Samoki, Bontoc, MP.

The capability intervention sought to help improve the existing Quality Management Systems (QMS) of MPSPC by strengthening the knowledge and skills of key officers and personnel about pertinent QMS techniques, resources, and plans. This also comes as part of the online session that was conducted on November 30, 2023.
College President Edgar G. Cue, in his welcome remarks, lauded the representatives from the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) for their support toward capacitating the MPSPC personnel in the application of business excellence and capability interventions toward assessing and documenting the MPSPC’s orthodoxy to international quality standards.
He also highlighted the significance of the activity as a powerful mechanism to further enhance and improve the institution’s quality management system (QMS). “This is in response to augmenting the relevant QMS approaches, tools, and techniques toward addressing the needs and demands of what is at stake for MPSPC and its future,” added Cue.
Said session will run until Friday, December 15, 2023, and is being conducted after the courtesy call made by the representatives from the DAP to the Office of the College President earlier today.
