In partnership with the Mountain Province Cooperative Union (MPCU), the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) Entension Unit of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) is conducting a seminar on Credit and Risk Management at the Bayle Building, Chakchakan, Bontoc, MP today, December 15, to emphasize the importance of sustainable financial practices and in navigating complex financial landscapes which are essential for the long-term success of cooperatives.

Participated by the cooperative officers, staff, and members from various cooperatives in Mountain Province, the extension activity is strategically vital to address the impediments faced by the cooperative sectors in their pursuit of financial sustainability and social impact by administering financial services to members.
 
In his message, College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue, represented by Executive Assistant Ms. Shaine Marie K. Macli-ing, acknowledged the facilitators and participants of the seminar as he emphasized his satisfaction with the MPSPC and MPCU's joint commitment to creating a pathway for cooperative professionalization.

Said extension activity also comes as part of the collaborative commitment between MPSPC โ€“ BSA and MPCU, an accredited training provider of cooperatives in Mountain Province, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), to bolstering coops by giving cooperative professionalism a platform to develop more robust and successful institution-wide initiatives.
