As part of the program's protocol, Dr. Patricia Martinez-Alvarez visited the US Embassy in Manila for a brief reception meeting with Dr. John Groch, the Embassy's Public Affairs Officer, and Ms. Nina Lewis, Cultural Affairs Officer. In the brief meeting, they discussed the importance of how the specialist program with the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College fosters the bilateral US-Philippine relations through cultural and educational exchanges.
After the meeting, Dr. Alvarez proceeded to the Philippine Fulbright Office to meet with Milagros Tan, Program Officer, in the absence of Executive Director Julio Amador who was out on an official trip. Dr. Alvarez will start with her official engagements with MPSPC on May 17.
