To acquaint the employees from the Bids and Awards Committee, the Finance and Accounting office, and the project team members on the protocols of specific operations necessary to meet the requirements, the Research Development and Extension Unit of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic, and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST – PCAARD, conducted an Inception Meeting today, December 13, at the MPSPC HM Hall, Bontoc, MP.

The activity aimed to lay the groundwork for the implementation of PCAARRD funded project that contribute to the achievement of three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): building networks with professionals, industry leaders, and partner institutions (SDG 17), protecting efficiency and productivity gains while achieving sustainable consumption and production patterns (SDG 12), and finding gainful employment that is productive and secure for personal development and securing the future (SDG 13).
 
In his opening message, MPSPC President Dr. Edgar G. Cue expressed hope that the workshop would increase participants' knowledge of enhancement and accountable project implementation, which is critical in addressing exigencies toward sustainable growth and operation of the College.
 
β€œI encourage everyone to participate actively in the discussion by sharing your ideas, concerns, and suggestions that reflect the needs of the College, considering not only the short-term goals but also to its long-term impacts,” added Dr. Cue.
 
Said meeting was conducted after a courtesy call made by the representatives from the PCAARRD to the Office of the College President.
