Following the unity walk that launched the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC), male employees of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) are taking part in the “MOVE Tayun Brad: Making MPSPC Male Employees Become Allies to End VAWC” seminar – workshop this 29th and 30th day of November 2023 at the Coffee and Lemon, JBA Building, Samoki, Bontoc.

The two-day team-building event aimed to forge a collective effort to stop gender inequality and any form of violence against women and children.


Meanwhile, the participants were divided into groups to manifest on improvement and come up with corresponding recommendations to end VAWC.


In his opening remarks, College President Edgar G. Cue, expressed his appreciation to all MPSPC male employees for participating in the activity, urging them to comprehend and apply every knowledge being discussed.


“Violence against women and children is a universal human issue, and we, as men, play a crucial role in being allies to combat this kind of environment. We must be the catalyst of change to resolve violence to women and children, regardless of age, civil status, religion, disability and heritage,” Cue added.
