Participated by the faculty of the Criminology Department, the two-day activity seeks to empower educators with practical insights, techniques, and evidence-based approaches that not only enhance the teaching of criminology but also foster an inclusive and respectful environment in line with the United Nationsโ€™ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on quality education; gender equality; and, peace, justice, and strong institution. This also comes as part of the 18-day campaign to end violence against women and children.

In his message, College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue lauded the speakers, organizers, and participants for their integral part toward the success of the program. He also encouraged the participants to show their desire to learn and embrace new things, particularly in this form of training for new teaching approaches.

โ€œLet this be your opportunity to utilize the time while actively engaging in discussions that challenge traditional viewpoints and highlight the endeavor of promoting gender equality in criminology contexts,โ€ stressed Cue.
