College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue visited later today Department of Budget and Management (DBM) Secretary Amenah F. Pangandaman to submit and follow-up development project proposals for Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) at the DBM Central Office, Manila on May 25, 2023.
Dr. Cue submitted 16 tier 2 programs endorsed by the Regional Development Council (RDC) which included infrastructure development projects in line with the College's quest for a university status.
Project MASAGANA Cordillera, an initiative of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in the region to address food sustainablity under the leadership of Regional Director Demetrio P. Anduyan, Jr., was also submitted.
Moreover, Cue extended his formal invitation to the DBM chief to serve as the guest of honor and speaker during the College's commencement exercises this year.
Meanwhile, Cue was also joined by the President of Batangas State University (BatSU) Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, who also serves as the President of the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), during the meeting with Sec. Pangandaman to discuss, among others, the free higher education for SUCs.
They were also joined by Winifred Cue and BatSU Vice President for Administration and Finance, Atty. Luzviminda Rosales.
