The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) has been selected as one of the 40 state universities and colleges (SUCs) in the Philippines to participate in the Inclusive Business Accelerator Programme (IBAP).


IBAP aims to strengthen the social innovation and impact of SUCs across areas of disaster-related, livelihood, and arts and culture. This is a partnership between the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and Lingnan University in Hongkong to promote inter-university cooperation between the two countries through promotion of social innovation and humanitarian technologies for the communities.

College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue together with Ma. Fenerlin S. Comfay, and Denmark P. Butic participated in the said three-day intensive workshop conducted by Lingnan University in partnership with Bopinc (The Netherlands) at Century Park Hotel in Manila on May 23-25, 2023.

Through Inclusive Business (IB) concepts, tools, and frameworks, the participants were engaged in brainstorming sessions with representatives of other SUCs in scaling up a social innovation. The Session also featured pitching sessions by the participants.

The said IBAP aimed to help SUCs deepen their impact in rural communities through implementing research and extension projects.
