The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) actively participated in the recent 12th Regional Health Research Conference, held June 18–19, 2024, at Saint Louis University, Baguio City with the theme "Driving Health Research Excellence Through Synergizing Partnerships". Said conference brought together healthcare professionals and researchers from across the Cordillera Administrative Region.

MPSPC faculty member Ms. Cherry Ann B. Chagyowen, from the Department of Nursing, presented her research at the conference's 3-minute pitch to policymakers competition. Her study, titled "Multiple Burden among Women in Government Service," investigates the challenges faced by women juggling work and personal responsibilities. This research aims to inform policies that can support the well-being of this important demographic.

MPSPC's participation extended beyond Ms. Chagyowen's presentation. Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, Vice President for Research Development and Extension, Dean Alfred O. Fomocao Jr. of the Department of Nursing, and BSN Program Coordinator Annie Lourie Y. Paredes actively participated in the conference's various events. Their presence at the conference demonstrates MPSPC's commitment to advancing health research in the province and the region.

The conference itself offered a valuable platform for collaboration and knowledge sharing. The soft launch of the Regional Unified Health Research Agenda (RUHRA) 2-23-2028, the unveiling of the CRHRDC BINNADANG: Mentoring Handbook, and insightful lectures on indigenous health research all contributed to a productive exchange among participants.
