May 26, 2023 - The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) led by its College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue solidified its collaboration with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) led by its Regional Director Atty. Atanacio D. Addog today through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The purpose of this agreement is to enhance the partnership between the two organizations and facilitate the effective implementation of the NCIP-MBS (Manpower Building Scheme) and Educational Assistance Program (EAP).


The signing ceremony signifies the commitment of both agencies to work together towards a shared vision and mission of youth development and the recognition of their crucial role in the nation-building process.

Following the signing of the MOA, an orientation and capability-building activity for NCIP EAP and SEAP (Sustainable Education Assistance Program) grantees took place. The session aimed to equip the grantees with the necessary knowledge and skills to maximize the opportunities provided by the programs. The orientation served as a platform for the grantees to understand the objectives, guidelines, and requirements of the NCIP-MBS and EAP, ensuring their successful participation.

Witnessing the ceremony were the Director for Linkages and Chairperson for HM/TM Department, Dr. Karen B. Cue; the Coordinator for Scholarships and Grants Office, Mr. Somerson C. Kis-ing; NCIP -EAP Focal Person, Ms. Jane Lamangen and the NCIP-EAP Grantees.
