College President Edgar G. Cue, together with the staff from the Research Development and Extension Unit of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), attended the inauguration of the 1st International Research and Innovation Conference on Education, Engineering, and Agriculture (IRICEEA 2023) with a mantra of “Strengthening Research and Innovation Ecosystem through Education, Engineering, and Agriculture” held at the International Convention Center, DMMMSU-NLUC, Sapilang, Bacnotan, La Union, yesterday, December 4, 2023.

Gathering contingents from the various state universities and colleges (SUCs) and government agencies, the conference aimed to bring together experts from the fields of education, engineering, and agriculture to share their knowledge and experiences and discuss innovative ideas, foresight, and futures thinking that support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Cue also inked Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with partner SUCs for the SINAG: ASEAN+ Network for Sustainable Development Goals, Innovations, and Futures Thinking, an international association intended to capacitate members in promoting innovations that support various SDG initiatives with the core areas of: Teaching & Research; Administration and Governance; People and Society; and, Environment & Governance.
