Academic Achievers of all the campuses of the College, comprising 136 President's Listers and 646 Dean's Listers were recognized at the Parangal para sa mga Mag-aaral yesterday, April 12, 2024, at the College Auditorium. The academic achievers cover the 2nd semester of AY 2022-2023 and the 1st semester of AY 2023-2024.

Dr. Khad M. Layag, Chief Education Supervisor for the Curriculum Implementation Division of the Department of Education-Division of Mountain Province was the Guest Speaker. "These achievements speak of the ability of the faculty to deliver quality education despite the limited resources and to the students who are committed in their desire to learn, to achieve their goals in life," Dr. Layag stressed. "What comes next after excelling in your academics and extracurriculars? Look back as you step forward, keeping in mind your goals. Continue developing and honing your skills. When you are there, learn how to blend, bearing the values that you learn in MPSPC, and make sure that you are rooted in the ground," he added.
 
College President Edgar G. Cue on the other hand shared the five ingredients of the recipe titled, Valuing the Essence of Success including valuing the passion within oneself, training oneself to be resilient amidst adversities, practicing how to spend one’s coin of time, and self-management, improving one’s decision-making skills, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and praying and having faith in God.
 
Ms. Christina P. Gullod, President’s List Top1 of Bontoc campus thanked the educators for pushing them in their studies. "This award is a testament to your guidance and mentorship,” she said. “In the face of challenges, hard work and determination can lead to extraordinary outcomes,” she added.
 
“College is not easy. We are dedicated to strive. I believe that all our efforts and sacrifices are fulfilling our heart's dreams,” Ms. Mercy May M. Moc-eng, President’s List Top 1 of Tadian campus stressed.
 
The Parangal is an annual event of the College to give recognition to students who excel in their academics as well as extra-curricular activities.
