Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) President Edgar G. Cue is attending the National Coffee, Cacao, and Coconut (CaConUT) Congress 2023 being held at the Iloilo Convention Center, Iloilo City on November 8-10 bannering the theme “Coffee, Cacao, and Coconut: Thriving and Innovating through Changing Climates.”
 
The three-day event showcases the wide arrays of the coffee, cacao, and coconut industries in the Philippines, featuring topics including: Global Outlook of Coffee, Cacao, and Coconut Industries in the Local and International Scenario; Economics and the Value Chain of CoCaNut; Government Initiatives and Financing Schemes for Farmers; and Innovations to Increase the Competitiveness of Local Production.
 
Said congress is being hosted by POPA Agriculture Cooperative, in partnership with the Iloilo City Government, Iloilo Provincial Government, Regional Agricultural and Fishery Council (RAFC) 6, and regional line agencies of Western Visayas, and is attended by exhibitors, producers, buyers and trading companies, state universities and colleges (SUCs), research institutions, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), farmers’ cooperatives, and local government units (LGUs), among others.
