As part of the PhilCAFE's highlight of accomplishments, College President Edgar G. Cue presented significant changes of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) as a project partner under the governance activity of the PhilCAFE during the PhilCAFE project's completion forum at the Acacia Hotel, Davao City on September 13, 2023.
Cue mounted the MPSPC's feat toward its remarkable partnership with the different coffee organizations and other state universities and colleges; establishment of coffee farms, demo farms and a registered coffee nursery; encouraged HTM faculty for TESDA accreditation; launching of the first MPSPC's Montañosa Coffee Center, and among others.
Furthermore, MPSPC's Montañosa Coffee Center is envisioned to become a Montañosa Arabica Research Development and Production Center for its continuous programs that support coffee farmers organization and for the curriculum integration of coffee production for students.
Meanwhile, MPSPC received an award in recognition to its outstanding achievement of excellence in Coffee Nursing Care and Management.
