The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – Mountain Province, in partnership with the Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) Department of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), concluded its fourth batch of the Housekeeping NC II today, December 19, at the MPSPC HM Hall, Bontoc, MP.

In his message, College President Edgar G. Cue acknowledged the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority for expediting a good collaboration with MPSPC toward the implementation of its programs and projects. He also commended the trainees for their hard work and enthusiasm for the program, challenging them to incorporate their learned skills into their future careers and life plans.
 
“We ask of you to be our partners in the attainment of the vision, mission, and goals of MPSPC. Through you, we can be able to reach out more to vulnerable communities for the provision of efficient and inclusive education,” Cue added.
 
Meanwhile, the program conferred 25 graduates of the Housekeeping NC II and provided them with a more innovative approach to technical-vocational education and training (TVET) associated to the requirements of industries to primarily address unemployment and job-skill mismatch.
 
Said activity was aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for decent work and sustainable economic growth, and fostering partnership as MPSPC linked in with TESDA to produce needed skilled and certified workers in the housekeeping sector for better employment locally and internationally.
