THE DOST-STARBOOKS
Guidelines in using the DOST Science and Technology Academic and Research-
Based Openly-Operated Kiosks:
- The system is Read Only which means downloading of information from the software is not allowed.(as per DOST guidelines)
- All enrolled students are allowed to use the STAR BOOKS with a maximum of five (5) hours per student in a semester however, depending upon the availability of the computer.
- Faculty may use the kiosks for at least ten (10) hours in a semester however, depending upon the availability of the computer.
- Users should adhere to the following ethics in using the kiosks:

- All users are required to use the logbook.
- Users are not allowed to eat and sleep while using the computer system.
- Reservation is not allowed. It is first come, first serve basis.
- Correct data should be entered in the registration form, including the comments and other necessary information needed to be filled up by users.

- Information/researches taken from the system may be printed in the library with charges.

MPSPC College Library Collection Digitization Program focuses on building digital collection of enduring value. The program supports the project that complies with copyright law, intellectual property law and college policies; provide college wide access; and broader access.
Access to digitized collections
- Digitized collections are being accessed electronically for library study and research purposes only.
- Students are allowed to print digitized collections for the purpose of research however; they are not allowed to print in full text. A minimal fee is collected.
- Digitized materials are not allowed to be reproduced as such library clients are not allowed to download digitized material.
ONLINE e-JOURNALS AND e-BOOKS
The library has collections of e-journals and e-books which can be viewed online.
