Bachelor of Science in Criminology can surpass its AACCUP 3rd visit as ‘it has no reason to fail’ assured by Chairperson Dr. Joni Pagandiyan.
When asked about the evaluation of Criminology faculty “In terms of faculty members, all are master’s degree holders but nonetheless still need strengthening and development of each specification,” Dr. Pagandiyan said.

MOUNTAIN PROVINCE STATE POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE endured another Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) Accreditation Visit for its eight undergraduate degree programs on August 15-17, 2018 in Bontoc and Tadian Campuses. 

The accrediting team evaluated the following: Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives (VMGO); Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction; Support to Students; Research, Extension and Community Involvement; Library; Physical Plant and Facilities; and, Laboratories, and Administration.

The Tulong-Dunong Program (TDP) is the government platform aimed at providing financial assistance to qualified and deserving students. There are two types of this program - the CHED Tulong-Dunong Program covered by CHED-DBM Joint Memorandum Circular N0. 2017-2 dated May 24, 2017 with amendments covered by CHED-DBM Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2017-2A dated September 29, 2017.

A Citizens Satisfaction Index Survey (CSIS) commissioned by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) where MPSPC was the project implementer in Mountain Province revealed that the Bontoc citizens reflected high satisfaction ratings across all the service indicators indicated in the CSIS. Ranked accordingly from highest to lowest percentage scores are the following: Health services (94%); Governance and response (89.33%); Support to education (88.67%); Environmental management (88.00%); Social welfare (84.00%); Public works and infrastructure (80.67); and Economic and investment promotion (80%).
