The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College welcomed the first group of incoming freshmen and returning students as it officially opened the first day of in-person enrolment today for the 1st semester, AY 2020-2021 at the College Auditorium. Kicking-off the first day of the regulated enrolment were the enrollees of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration programs. More importantly, the College Management ensured that the process complied with the regulations of the Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ).

Ma’am Pilar Palangyos celebrated her 65th birthday on May 16, 2020 and her day of retirement fell at a time when social conditions are not normal because of the Covid-19 pandemic. There is no doubt that Ma’am Pilar is a character in MPSPC to reckon with. During the simple celebration of her “commencement”, not retirement, as insisted by Dr. Rexton F. Chakas, she stood by her character as an individual whose individuality has touched many people’s lives, within or outside the institution. In the College President’s message, he gave life to the letters of her name P-I-L-A-R with words which every person in the program may never forget.
