With the theme, “PASUC @50: At the Forefront of the Global Dynamics in Public Higher Education through Sports”, SCUAA National Games 2018 was held in Antique hosted by the University of Antique partnered with the Provincial Government of Antique last February 18 – 23.
Three student journalists from Mountain Province State Polytechnic College were able to bring home awards from the recent 17th Luzonwide Higher Education Press Conference (LHEPC) last February 28 to March 2 held at Hotel Supreme, Baguio City.
Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) faculty and staff extension workers garnered four awards among the four participating papers during the Annual and 5th International Convention of the Philippine Association of Extension Program Implementers, Inc. (PAEPI) held at De La Salle University on February 24, 2018.
“You see, the conversion of the Mountain Province Community College into a State College 26 years ago last January 17, 1992 is about change. It was about development. That was our leaders’ contribution to the development and enhancement of tertiary education this side of the Philippines.” Thus, said the College President, Rexton F. Chakas in his Charter Day message during the culminating program of the 26th Charter Anniversary on January 31 at the Eyeb Grandstand.
