Showcasing matured technologies is one of the critical and difficult indicators that set the extension benchmarks to a higher plane. For this year, this dearth of matured technologies was solved with the release of 43 copies of President Rexton Chakas’ book on The Doctrine of Completed Staff Work for Sadanga municipality and 15 copies for Natonin local government unit.
Following a deliberate-conscious stepping up of research-extension fusion, the MPSPC extensionists from the different departments conducted training needs analysis to better determine profile the and analyze the training needs of the adopted schools, municipalities or other organizations prior to the conduct of the extension activity.

Mark Preston Lopez, MPSPC faculty and Fullbright scholar and Dr. Annie Grail Ekid, Vice President for Research Development and Extension presented their research paper entitled, “Challenges of Mother Tongue Language Instruction in Multilingual Settings: Policy and Practices in Mountain Province,” with President Rexton Chakas as a co-author during the 27th Annual international Conference for National Association for Multicultural Education (NAME). Following the theme, “Re-imagining multicultural education in changing times, “ the research conference was held from November 1 to 5, 2017 at the Hilton Lake Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States.
