The 2nd MPSPC Journalism Conference and Gender Sensitivity writing and TALA Exhibit rouses campus journalism among the students of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College who participated the seminar-write shop last May 5-6 at the college Auditorium.

Embracing the theme “Empowering Campus Journalism Response to Millennial Change”, Tala, the Mocking Bird collaborated with the Gender and Development Office as they aimed to inspire students with talents in journalism to rise and find themselves as they discover and develop their own skills in journalism. The said event sets every department to create their own student publication and improve the existing ones in the college.

Bontoc, Mountain Province- the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) released the result of the assessment and evaluation for 13 academic programs offered at the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College on April 17, 2017.

With the theme, “Valuing the Past… Strengthening our Ties… Weaving Lasting Legacies…” the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College celebrates its 48th Foundation Anniversary and the First Grand Alumni Homecoming today. Alumni coming from different places, students, MPSPC staff and visitors graced the said event with their presence as they started with a parade around the community.
The college president Dr. Rexton F. Chakas warmly welcomed everybody. He said “48 years ago today and the grand alumni homecoming develop and improve this institution.”

BONTOC, Mountain Province, Mar. 30. The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) awarded here today three Certificates of Compliance (COPC) to Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) on the programs Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSEd), Bachelor in Elementary Education (BEEd), and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration (BSOA) effective Academic Year 2016 – 2017.

Quality assurance as mandated by CHED is the “alignment and consistency of the learning environment with the institution’s Vision, Mission, and Goals (VMGO) demonstrated by exceptional learning and service outcomes and the development of a culture of quality.” Thus, ensuring quality education at MPSPC, the College committed itself to achieve quality education involving all of its units and other stakeholders in the process. This is one of the ideals and commitment of the College as it is clearly summarized in its VMGO and thrusts (HERITAGE). This kind of commitment, then, is transformed into having a conviction for Quality Assurance by ensuring that all of its programs meet the minimum requirements set by CHED as indicated in the programs’ respective Policies, Standards and Guidelines (PSGs) through CHED Memorandum Orders (CMOs).
