Selected as one among the top choice of topics by the participants during the Consultative summit entitled “A Strategic Convention on Empowerment of Indigenous People (IP) Communities through Education and Self Determination” is the establishment of an IPED Center. This idea came from the participating team of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC)
Bagging home 5 golds, 3 silvers and 8 bronze and with 127 points, the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College landed the over all 1st runner-up, with a three-point deficit to tie-up with Benguet State University who bagged the championship, in the recently concluded CARASUC Culture and the Arts Festival 2017 at Ifugao State University, Nayon, Lamut, Ifugao on November 15-18, 2017.
Nineteen students from Bontoc Campus and 10 students from the Tadian Campus won in the various contested events during the MPSPC’s celebration of the 83rd National Book Week conducted last Nov. 20-24, 2017
