Dr. Rexton F. Chakas issued a set of Special Orders (SOs) to a new pool of designees who will lead various offices in both the Bontoc and the Tadian campuses. Mr. Dexter C. Lingbanan, the Chief of Staff of the Office of the President announced the names of the new designees on September 9, 2019 during the Monday flag ceremony held at the College Auditorium. Following this, the College President also issued a hold-over capacity order to the current designees.

           The Cordillera Chamber Singers (CSS) flaunted their singing prowess in an astounding musical performance that earned the nod of the judges and resulted in their bringing home two gold medals from the two competition categories during the Penabur International Choir Festival (PICF) held in Jakarta, Indonesia last September 3-7, 2019.

The 12 accreditors from Accredited Agency of Chartered Colleges and University of the Philippines (AACCUP) visited Mountain Province State Polytechnic College from August 13-15 for the accreditation survey visit for Level III – Phase I for the three academic programs, and Revisit - Area VII (Library) for other two academic programs of the college.

The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities of the Philippines (AACCUP) team of accreditors led by Dr. Adolfo C. Manuel, Jr. (Cavite State University), Dr. Dariel A. Palmiano (Central Bicol State University of Agriculture), and Dr. Josephine A. Gonzales (CBSUA) conducted site ocular survey visit for MPSPC extension programs (Impact Assessment) on three academic programs for Level III – Phase I last August 14.

The survey visit by the accrediting team from the AACCUP ended the finishing touches of their report this 15 August 2019. The report will eventually give the verdict whether the efforts of the College’s aim of giving higher accreditation level have passed the scrutiny of the team or have gone to naught.
